“I’m an amateur artist and crafter. My interest in art was re-awakened when I was living in France We had bought an old house and spent a lot of time renovating it. I needed a way to meet people and discovered an art group in a nearby village consisting of French, English, Dutch and German ladies. I learned a lot and enjoyed the friendship and support.  I returned to Scotland and settled in Dalkeith in 2011. I moved to Penicuik recently and joined PCAA. I still go to Dalkeith Friday Art Group. My work is mainly in pastel, but I sometimes produce work in watercolour or acrylic.”
