Below, we see Damian Callan in action at the West Street Arts Centre on 24th May. Damian is an Edinburgh-based artist and well respected teacher and the author of two books: Paint Like Degas and Paint Like Renoir. He gave us a wonderful practical demonstration of the methods used by Renoir to achieve his vibrant canvases. Hopefully the audience is now inspired to apply the technique to their own practice!
