Concert – Northcott Caird Smith

At St James the Less Church Hall, Broomhill, EH26 9EE:

The concert (postponed from 13th June) of traditional style music from the Northcott Caird Smith band.

Sarah, Duggi and Matt will give us a fabulous evening of music and craic. Tickets £10/£5 on sale at the end of August.

Matt, Duggi and Sarah play a mix of self-penned and traditional-style tunes from Scotland and beyond on guitar, accordion and fiddle, from gentle melodies to gritty reels via tunes of celebration and fun. They enjoy weaving tunes and accompaniments together in intricate arrangements, giving each instrument a voice, and betray their strong pedigree in ceilidh bands by regular forays into toe-tapping jigs and reels.  The concert will feature some of their greatest hits and a range of new material.
