12. Lots of great events ahead!

Our Zoom Burns event is coming up soon – on Saturday 22nd January at 7:30pm. It will be in the form of a concert, with local people telling Burns’ story in words and music. It’s a fund-raiser for our building repairs this year, so your support is very much appreciated! It will be a really good evening.

Please book your tickets (£10) online HERE.  Or if you don’t like clicking links, you can email penicuikarts.org@gmail.com. Your ticket will be downloadable, or sent by email once you’ve paid, and will contain the Zoom link.

On Saturday 5th February, Justyna Jablonska, a well-known Edinburgh cellist, is running an improvisation workshop and then performing a concert with her Indian violinist collaborator Jyotsna Srikanth. The workshop is for abilities and experience from “intermediate” (Grade 3 or Nat 5) upwards, on any instrument, including voice. Places are strictly limited and going fast. So please book your place as soon as possible by emailing Sue on penicuikarts.org@gmail.com. The workshop will start at 2pm and last for 1 hour.

The concert starts at 4pm. Again, places are limited and early booking is essential. Tickets will be available by Saturday 15th January, and you can reserve yours now by emailing Sue at the above email address.

The workshop and concert are heavily subsidised by Chamber Music Scotland and Creative Scotland grants, which means we can offer tickets at £5 for each event, £2 for low income, and free for school or university students. This is an incredible opportunity for the lucky few!

Finally, on Sunday 13th February at 3pm, the highly acclaimed Edinburgh Celtic Harpist and composer, Ailie Robertson, will perform for us at the Arts Centre. Tickets are £15 and must be purchased in advance. More details can be found by clicking hereOr just email us at penicuikarts.org@gmail.com to reserve your ticket and arrange payment.

We’d love to see you at any or all of these events!
