White Rose Ensemble
The White Rose Ensemble was formed to promote the wealth of repertoire for soprano, clarinet and piano. They’ve premiered works by Sheena Phillips and John Hearne and given the first UK performance of two works by Lori Laitman. They have a particular focus on lesser-known works by Scottish composers including William Wordsworth, John McLeod, Margaret Murray McLeod Ronald Center and Iain Hamilton. The programme will include Louis Spohr’s six German Songs, Three Vocalises by Vaughan Williams and Burns Songs arranged by Margaret Murray McLeod. Supported by Chamber Music Scotland.
