Exhibitions in the
Gallery Café and Room 1

The Café Gallery is open Monday to Saturday 10 am-4 pm and hosts new selling exhibitions every month by local artists and some from further afield. Exhibitions are also held upstairs, in Room 1 (4 West Street). Exhibitions preview on the first Sunday (2-4 pm), to which everybody is welcome, then run to the evening before the first Sunday of the next month.

This solo exhibition "Resonance", is an opportunity to see and buy original paintings that are inspired by sound.

In a era when it's so easy to capture everything you see with a digital camera, "Illy" offers a contrasting opportunity to see things in abstract vivid motion on canvas. He taps into the feeling you get when listening to music, and brings out a captivating movement and emotion in his use of colour. If you want to see art that brings walls to life, this is not to be missed!
